Fall auditions for the 2026-2027 season will take place on the following dates:
Wednesday, September 2nd, 2026
Thursday, September 3rd, 2026

Rehearsals for the 2026-2027 Western Piedmont Symphony Youth Orchestras season will begin on Monday, September 14, 2026.
This season's concerts will take place:
Sunday, December 15, 2026 @ 3:00 PM in Drendel Auditorium
Sunday, May 16, 2027 @ 3:00 PM in Drendel Auditorium.
ABOUT DEBUT STRINGS
Debut Strings is an auditioned string orchestra for developing string players at an intermediate level of music-making. Young artists have the opportunity to grow in leadership and prepare for the full-orchestra experience.
Debut Strings, conducted by Angela Allen, performs two concerts a year, and young string players are encouraged to come and try out! For more information, please contact Angela Allen at [email protected]
ABOUT YOUTH SYMPHONY
The Youth Symphony is an auditioned orchestra, generally comprised of high school students at an advanced musical level. These students are leaders in their schools and community, and they are passionate about working together to make music.
