Explore the Orchestra! is a fun and informative educational concert created and performed by the Western Piedmont Symphony. Partnering with local regional school districts and music teachers, this concert reinforces essential standards from the K-8 NC Essential Standards in Music and will help enable students to recognize the different instrument families of the orchestra and how they produce sound. Students will have an opportunity to hear the individual instruments, the instrument families, and how they work together to create the magic of a full symphony orchestra.
