WPS Musician Auditions 22-23 Season

Audition Announcement for the following vacancies:

SECTION VIOLIN I
PRINCIPAL VIOLIN II

SECTION VIOLIN II
SECTION VIOLA
SECTION CELLO
SECTION BASS

OBOE III/UTILITY
CLARINET II

SECTION PERCUSSION

Audition Date: August 27, 2022 

Materials due: August 5, 2022

Auditions will be held at:
Western Piedmont Symphony Offices at the SALT Block in Hickory, NC

243 Third Avenue NE, Suite 1-N, Hickory, NC 28601

• Applicants should submit a cover letter indicating interest and a one-page résumé via email to:

Checks will be returned at check-in for the audition. 

Cover letter, résumé, and application fee must be received by the WPS Personnel Manager by August 5, 2022.

Current per service rates with the Western Piedmont Symphony are $75 for section and $85 for Principal. The 2022-2023 season is approximately 30-35 services
