Announcing auditions on Monday, June 1, 2026 for the following vacancies:

SECOND BASSOON

243 Third Ave. NE, Suite 1-N, Hickory, NC 28601

 

26-27 Season Service Rates:

  • Principal $92/service plus travel
  • Associate Principal $85/service plus travel
  • Section $80/service travel

Travel rate is determined by the one-way distance from musician’s residence to WPS standard venue(s). 

  • 0-40 miles: $0
  • 40-80 miles: $10 per round-trip made
  • 80+ miles: $20 per round-trip made

There are approximately 35 services total for the 26-27 Season
