In addition to wearing masks, the following are temporary protocols for individuals visiting campus. These policies are in place currently and will be reviewed regularly to determine if they need to be extended or modified.
- Individuals from the community are welcome to visit campus and take advantage of campus-sponsored events and services, including the Visiting Writers Series, symphony concerts, chapel, the library and dining in the Cromer Center. Lenoir-Rhyne strongly encourages all visitors to be fully vaccinated and requires everyone to wear a mask in all indoor facilities on campus.
J.E. Broyhill Civic Center
From J.E. Broyhill Civic Center:
Beginning Wednesday, August 11, CCC&TI will implement additional measures to the Fall Semester Health and Safety Guidelines and Protocols, based on advice from state and local health care officials.
The new guidelines include the following requirement: Face coverings must be worn at all times when indoors reguardless of vaccination status. Exceptions to the rule include when an individual is in a private office or individual study room, or while eating or drinking and practicing safe social distancing. Face coverings are not required outdoors when social distancing can be practiced. The requirement applies to all CCC&TI properties, including the J.E. Broyhill Civic Center and Transportation and Public Services (TAPS) Center.
